Today I want to show you how easy and simple you can make at home the famous cake loved by all children, the slice of milk cake. It has a fluffy cocoa top and a delicious cream with an intense milk taste. You will definitely never buy from the store again!

- 5 eggs
- 100 gr sugar
- 50 ml oil
- 50 ml milk
- 90 gr flour
- 40 gr black cocoa
- 5 gr baking powder
- 1 pinch of salt
- 260 ml milk
- 2 teaspoons starch
- 100 gr sugar
- 5 gr granulated gelatin
- 30 ml of cold water
- 200 ml whipped cream
- 250 gr mascarpone
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Preparation time: less than 90 minutes
RECIPE PREPARATION Dessert slice cake:
countertop: Mix the yolks with the sugar added gradually, until it doubles in volume and the sugar melts. Then add the oil, little by little, then the milk.
Mix the flour with the cocoa and baking powder and sift them over the yolks. Mix lightly with a spatula, from bottom to top. Mix the egg whites with a pinch of salt until you get a meringue and then gradually add them to the dough composition, mixing gently with the spatula from bottom to top.
Line the tray with baking paper and bake the top at 180 degrees C for about 10 minutes
Remove the tray from the oven and let the countertop cool, then cut it in half, obtaining two sheets.
Cream: Put gelatin in cold water and let it hydrate. Put the sugar and starch in a saucepan, mix gently with a whisk and add the milk little by little.
Put the pan on the fire, stirring constantly, until it starts to boil and thicken a little. Turn off the heat and when it cools down a bit, add the gelatin and stir until it melts
Move the cream into a bowl and cover with cling film and allow to cool.
Mix the whipped cream until it starts to harden, then add the mascarpone and continue mixing. Add chilled milk cream and vanilla and mix everything well
Refrigerate the cream for 10-15 minutes.
Assembly: Put a sheet of worktop in a tray, add the cream and level well, then put the second worktop and let the cake cool for 2-3 hours.
Then slice the cake.
The tray used is the one from the stove, 41 x 33 cm
